Transcription of the Will of Elizabeth Abbs dated 29 December 1831
This is the last Will and Testament of me Elizabeth Abbs of Runton in the County of Norfolk widow. I direct all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses to be paid out of my personal estate. I give and bequeath all my personal estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever unto Herbert Jarrett Johnson of Cromer in the County of Norfolk Gentleman upon trust to call in, sell, dispose of and convert the same into money as soon as conveniently can be after my decease, and to pay and divide the money arising therefrom and such of my personal estate as shall consist of money unto and equally between my Son Richard and all other my sons and daughters share and share alike. And I appoint the said Herbert Jarrett Johnson Executor of this my Will and do empower and direct him to retain to and reimburse himself all costs charges damages and expenses which he shall or may incur sustain or be part unto in or about the execution of this my will and I direct that the said Herbert Jarrett Johnson shall not be answerable or accountable for more money or effects than shall actually come to his hands nor for involuntary ______. In witness whereof, I the said Elizabeth Abbs the testatrix have to this my last Will contained in one sheet of paper set my hand and seal this twenty ninth day of December one thousand eight hundred and thirty one.
