Transcription of Last Will and Testament of John Feaser, dated 9 January 1640:

In the name of God amen the nynteen day of January 1640: John Feaser of Runton next the Sea in the County of Norfolk ________ _________ being sick in my body but in perfect remembrance thanks be to Allmighty God for it do ordeyne and make this my last will and testament in manner and form following. First and before all things I bequeath my soul to Allmighty God my maker and to our Lord Jesus Christ my redeemer through whose pious merits I swear my soul to be saved next my body to the earth from whence it came to be buried in Christian burial at the discretion of my Executrix. All my worldly goods I thus dispose. ITEM I give and bequeath unto Susan my weife all my houses lands and tenements both free and copy hold situate lying and being in Runton aforesaid and her assynes for and during her natural life and after her decease I give and bequeath the said houses lands and tenements unto Robert my Sonn and his heirs and assynes and executors yielding and paying the legacies hereafter mentioned. ITEM I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth my daughter tenn pounds of good and lawful English money to be payed unto her by Robert my Sonn or his assyns within one whole year next after my weife's decease in or at the _____________________ in Runton aforesaid. ITEM I give and bequeath unto my Sonn John fourty pounds of good and lawful English money to be payed unto him by Robert my Sonn or his assyns twenty pounds to be paid unto him within one whole year next after my weife's decease and twenty pounds to be payed unto him within one whole year next after the first payment. ITEM I give and bequeath unto Susan my Daughter twenty pounds of good and lawful English money to be payed unto her by Robert my Sonn or his assyns within three years next after my weife's decease. All the rest of my movable goods and chattels whatsoever I give and bequeath unto Susan my wife whome I ordeyne and make my sole Executrix of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I the said John Feaser have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written.
