Transcription of Last Will and testament of Dorothy Abbs dated 19 March 1679.

…of Felbredge County of Norfolk widdow being not well of Bodye but of perfect memory prayse be therefore given to Almighty God doe make and ordaine this my presents last will and testament in manner and form following first I will that all my debts and funeral charges shall be paid and discharged. Item I give and Bequeath unto Robert Flaxman the son of John Flaxman of Thurgotowne four pounds of Lawful english money to be paid to him his heirs or assigns when he shall or might attain to the full age of one and twenty years. Item I give and Bequeath unto Elizabeth Flaxman the daughter of John Flaxman of Thurgotowne fortye shillings of Lawful english money to be paid to her or her heirs or assigns when she shall or might attain to the full age of one and twenty years. Item all the rest and residue of my personal estate goods and chattels whatsoever I do give and bequeath unto John Abbs my son in Felbredge his heirs and assigns forever immediately after my decease and doe constitute and appoynt the aforesaid John Abbs my son to be my full and whole executor of this my Last Will and Testament. I desire that my body may be buried at the discretion of my executor afore named and I doe hereby revoke disanull and make void all former wills and testaments by me heretofore made. In witness whereof I the aforesaid Dorothy Abbs to This my Last will and Testament being contained in one sheet of paper have set my hand and seal the nineteen day of march in the year of our Lord one thousand six hundred seventy and nine.
