He married Susannah Feazer, daughter of Robert Feazer.5,6 On 5 November 1701, William Abbs acquired copyhold in two parcels of three roods and two roods, respectively, at Gresham, Norfolk, England, from Peter Abbs which parcels Peter Abbs had acquired from Richard Abbs.7 Under the Will of Robert Feazer dated 24 December 1713, William Abbs and John Feazer were named trustees of two and one-half acres in East Runton to benefit the poor widows and old maids of East and West Runton who did not receive poor relief from the parish. William Abbs and John Feazer were admitted tenant to such lands by the Manor Court of Beeston Priory on 4 December 1717.8,9,10 William Abbs was listed in the Poll Book of 1714 for Knights of the Shire in Norfolk as as a freeholder in Aylmerton, Norfolk, England.11 He lived circa 1728 at Sheringham, Norfolk, England.12 On 24 March 1729/30, William Abbs and Susan Abbs granted all their copyhold lands at Aylmerton, Norfolk, England, to Ash Windham.13 On 24 March 1729/30, William Abbs granted all his copyhold lands at Gresham, Norfolk, England, to Ash Windham.14 William Abbs and Richard Abbs were listed as jurors for the Manor Court of Beeston Priory, Norfolk, England, seated on 6 October 1739.15 William Abbs died circa November 1748 at Runton, Norfolk, England.16 He was buried on 17 November 1748 at Holy Trinity Church, Runton, Norfolk, England.16
