Robert Loose received poor relief in January 1799 in Holkham, Norfolk, England, consisting of one petticoat and one blanket.9 Between 1819 and 1831, Robert Loose leased a cottage at New Holkham, Holkham, Norfolk, England, from an unknown person paying £1.11.6 per annum in rent. New Holkham was a semi-circle of about 10 houses just to the south of the Holkham Estate, built in the 1790s to accomodate Estate workers.10 He lived between 1831 and 1 July 1838 at Almshouse, Holkham, Norfolk, England.11
